Due to continued growth Ucan Secure IT are going on a recruitment drive to find additional warehouse operatives to work at its new site in Bradford.
Ucan are now operating a double shift system that means increased processing and production which now takes place from 7am- 6pm 7 days a week.
MD Rob Seal said – “Its really encouraging that in the current tough economic climate we are continuing to grow. The amount of redundant IT we are receiving onsite is increasing and we are having to increase our processing capacity accordingly.
We have now switched to a double shift 4 day a week system. This means our workers work 40 hours but over 4 days rather than 5.
Shift 1 works Mon -Thursday and Shift 2 works Friday -Monday.
So far the switch has proven successful both in terms of increased capacity and also with our staff who benefit from an extra long weekend.
We have recruited 5 more warehouse operatives in the last 6 weeks and are looking for further keen and enthusiastic workers.
